Knowing this was a Novella I knew to expect this as a fast read. This was a fun short story about Vanessa a 5th grade school teacher who is currently in the process of divorcing a major douche who did nothing but leave her hurt by the emotional pain he left her with, and Jackson a star studded basketball player who just moved into town.

I found the story lines to be very basic. Without going in to much details. The characters were written better then the actual story. Meaning you could actually visualize them in your mind, you could think about how they might look or act. While both main characters were a "perfect" fit and had lots in common I found this annoying over time. Over most of the story was predictable along the way. But since it was a fast read I still enjoyed it. I would like to know more about Jackson and Vanessa in a follow up book.

I think their story would of been better to tell as a novel.
